Q: What is FlexiLAN?A: FlexiLAN is a service which provides a secure connection across the Internet to remote users wishing to access and use their office data systems.
Q: Do I need a VPN connection to use FlexiLAN?
A: There is no need for a VPN connection. FlexiLAN makes its own secure connection to your LAN via an independent server which authenticates each user (and keeps a record of all user logins).
Q: What systems can FlexiLAN enable the user to access
A: FlexiLAN is designed to get the user onto their LAN from wherever they are. Once connected, any application they would normally use in the office can be made available for them to use – accounts software or a traditional VB/Access database for example.
Q: How do I connect to my Office network with FlexiLAN?
A: You must have an account already set up by your network administrator before you can use this service. Using and Internet connected PC or Mac (OSX or higher), all you then need to do is download the connector software from this website and follow the instructions, which will guide you onto your network.
